Getting to JI Expo JI Expo is located on a 44 hectare land, at the heart of the capital city of Indonesia. Getting there - JABODETABEK AREA: For people who live in the Jabodetabek area as well as other cities in Java and outside Java, JIExpo is not a hard location to reach. JIExpo, works hand-in-hand with the local government of DKI Jakarta to provide public transportation - the Trans Jakarta buses. These free-of-charge buses leaves from Monumen Nasional (Monas) to one of the bus stops in Jakarta Fairs gate. They pass the bus stops where visitors for Jakarta fair are already waiting. Aside from that, there is other public transportation directed to pass the Jakarta Fair arena. Visitors using private vehicles can reach the venue via the toll road and exit at Ancol. Getting there - OUTSIDE JABODETABEK AREA: Visitors coming from other cities by planes arriving at the Soekarno Hatta International airport can take a taxi. They can also take the DAMRI bus straight from the airport to Gambir, in Central Jakarta. Gambir is the largest train station in the city. During non-peak hours, traveling to the Jakarta Fair from the airport by taxi takes around 1.5 hours.
